This form is to apply for a Junior Associate audition only. Eligibility: children currently in school Years 3, 4 & 5 (English school system, ages 8-10) or P4, P5 & P6 (Scottish school system equivalent) may apply for a Junior Associate audition in 2019.

Junior Associate classes are held at our Associate centres around the UK in Bath, Birmingham, Dundee, Eastleigh, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Totnes. Please note that the majority of these auditions take place during school time so you will need to arrange absence from your child’s academic school, except London where auditions take place during the May half term holiday week.

All applicants for 2019 auditions complete the NEW APPLICANT application form even if an application was submitted last year.
Exceptions: do not use this application form if your child currently attends any of the 4 following RBS-linked training programmes: Primary Steps(RBS), Dance Track (BRB), Chance to Dance & National Nutcracker (ROH) but speak with the programme coordinator who will submit names of students all together for us to send parents our Affiliate Audition application form.

Audition applications should only be submitted by a child’s parent or guardian as parental/guardian consent is required for correspondence. Dance teachers cannot apply on behalf of a student, or multiple students which would link students incorrectly as siblings.

Please check the photograph requirements here before completing the form. You are required to submit 6 ballet positions as instructions.

The first time you complete an application in Open Apply you create your own personal audition account, requiring you choose a unique password that allows you to log in for all future applications. Once you have created the account please follow the instructions on the automated notification emails you receive. Please be aware that once an application has been submitted you will no longer be able to edit information so please ensure all details are correct and your chosen photos uploaded when you submit. At the end of the form you will be taken to a review page where you also make a credit/debit card payment of the audition fee.

When submitted a form shows on your checklists with a line through and a tick next to it, this along with the automated payment receipt sent denotes the application has been submitted successfully. Please do not call/email the office for confirmation of this.

Application fee: all audition applications pay the standard audition fee of £50.00. Audition fees are non-refundable.

Close date: the deadline to submit your fully completed application is 25 March 2019. No late applications are accepted and incomplete applications cannot be processed and do not proceed to audition.
